David Almeida

I am a recently relocated Long Island, NY based photographer with over fifteen years of professional experience in the heritage sector and tens of thousands of images created. My formal training was in traditional analog photography with a focus on medium and large format. My professional experience has predominately consisted of digital photography using high-end digital equipment and software to create accurate, quality digital images. My proficiency in both formats allows for versatility in a range of projects and client needs. I also have extensive experience with photo editing and retouching which ensures the best results.

Clients have ranged from various private collectors, museums and art fairs in South Florida and Nashville, Tennessee, including Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, the Wolfsonian-FIU, CIFO, 21C Museum Hotels, Cheekwood Estate and Gardens, Art in Embassies of the U.S. Department of State, and fairs that exhibit during Art Basel Miami Beach including Untitled and X Contemporary. My work has been published in journals and magazines such as Architectural Digest, Hyperallergic, The Art Newspaper, Oud Holland, and in various publications for MoMA, Wolfsonian-FIU, and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
